Interview with Lupe Fuentes, announces launch of ILoveLupe.com

First I want to say how much I appreciate you taking the time to answer these questions. You have always been one of the most popular models on LatinBabeIndex.com and our fans always want to see more of you. I’m sure they are going to be excited about this interview as well as the launch of your new site ILoveLupe.com.

LBI: Let’s talk about the transition from Little Lupe to Lupe Fuentes. It was more than a just a name change. It was a new beginning for you as well. What does the name change represent and how is Lupe Fuentes different than Little Lupe and Zuleidy?
Lupe Fuentes: I was a little girl with Little Lupe. I am older now and I know what I want. Little Lupe was a little girl and a success on the internet. I have bigger goals now and I plan on becoming a big film star.

LBI: You grew up in Spain but were born in Columbia, right?
Lupe Fuentes: Yes, I was born in Columbia and moved to Spain at the age of 4.

LBI: At what age did you know that you would like to be an adult film star?
Lupe Fuentes: When I was 15, I was watching a movie with my friends and I said I want to be a porno star. I love the sex and I wanted to be famous like Britney Spears. (Lupe laughs upon saying Britney Spears)

LBI: What are your goals as an adult film star in America? Do you want to win awards, make a lot of money?
Lupe Fuentes: Well, I think I want to win awards and make money but the most important thing for me is that I really want to make my fans happy. The most important thing is to make a personal connection with my fans because they are the most important critics.

LBI: What are your goals after you retire from performing in the adult industry?
Lupe Fuentes: I am not thinking about it yet. I have a lot of confidence and energy and I can do whatever I try. I love technology and I love the internet but I love the porn industry so much and even after I finish performing I still want to be involved in it.

LBI: Are you living in Los Angeles?
Lupe Fuentes: Yes, I love it. All my life I wanted to come to the USA. It’s so beautiful and big. I love LA. I love the food.

LBI: Have you been to a Lakers game?
Lupe Fuentes: No but I love baseball and the New York Jets. Evan took me to play baseball and it was a lot of fun.

LBI: Do you get recognized by people in LA while you are out shopping or going out?
Lupe Fuentes: Yes, it happens a lot. They mainly recognize me as Little Lupe.

LBI: Did they recognize you on the streets of Spain?
Lupe Fuentes: Yes, I did a lot of TV shows and TV interviews. I was in a mainstream comedy movie with Santiago Segura. He is the Adam Sandler of Spain. It was a very funny movie that played in all the theaters. I was also on a lot of magazine covers so people recognized me.

LBI: I know you are trying very hard to learn English. How is that going for you?
Lupe Fuentes: I have been studying English a lot. When I first moved to LA, I did not speak a single word. My first 10 days were very tough because I did not know anything. It’s funny, I went to the restroom with a friend and I tried to say it is really good but I ended up saying it’s really expensive. I have learned everything in 6 months. I spend a lot of time with Evan and he is very good in helping me learn the language.

{Lupe’s English skills are amazingly good considering she just started learning the language 6 months from the time of this interview. Her accent is cute!}

LBI: Before moving to California, how familiar were you with the porn industry in the United States? In what ways is the industry different in the United States compared to Spain?
Lupe Fuentes: Of course I knew of the American porn stars. The promotion in the USA – it is very big. Spain is a smaller market.

LBI: While in Spain, were there any American porn stars (male or female) that you considered your favorite and who are some of your new friends you have made in the industry?
Lupe Fuentes: Sunny Leone – I have a special connection with her. I also like Sasha Grey and Kacey Jordan. Kacey is my friend and I have a lot of fun with her. I plan on working together with Sunny for some content for my website. I can’t wait to shoot these scenes.

LBI: Some of your fans, not all of them, have expressed worry that you may no longer be doing boy-girl hardcore scenes. Is this true?
Lupe Fuentes: No. Not at all….A lot of the content for the new site is going to be hardcore. There will be some Boy/Girl, Boy/Girl/Girl. I think my fans will like the style of my scenes. There will be a lot of POV so that the guys can imagine being with me. My site will combine a little of the style from Little Lupe and a little from the Interactive DVD. It is very sensual and you can imagine I am your girlfriend.

LBI: Many adult stars either make extra money by dancing at Gentlemen’s Clubs or they started their adult entertainment career as strippers. Is this something you have ever done?
Lupe Fuentes: Yes. I have been dancing for 5 months. I love it. My first time, I was a little nervous. I had never been a dancer at the strip clubs. They are not popular in Spain.

LBI: When does www.ILoveLupe.com launch?
Lupe Fuentes: I am shooting all the content these days. I think around April 15th.

LBI: What will your fans expect to find on the site? Will you be offering webcam shows for members only?
Lupe Fuentes: Each week I will do a free webcam show for my members. I will also keep a video blog as well. There will also be contest for fans for them to win custom videos for him – or her. (giggles). I am going to make the website my baby and be in contact with my fans. I will answer all their questions.

LBI: A couple of last fun questions. I saw a picture of your dog on Twitter ( @lupefuentesxxx ). It is a very unique looking dog. What is it’s name and what kind of dog is it?
Lupe Fuentes: (Lupe laughs when I ask this) I have one 10 months old – Lolita.  She is a special chihuahua, a Blue Dapple. I think she is more famous than me (laughs). She is becoming a porn star too. (laughs) I am going to promote her too. She jumps around all day long. She only wants to live her own life. I just got my second dog two weeks ago. Bonzo – he is very small. He is a micro tea cup Pomeranian. He is so sweet. He loves me a lot and always hangs out with me.

LBI: What kind of music do you like? Who are your favorite musicians?
Lupe Fuentes: The Spyderz of course. I also love rap music. Akon, Rhianna.

LBI: American TV – do you like to watch it and what are some of your favorite shows?
Lupe Fuentes: Desperate Housewives and Sex and the City – typical porn star favorite shows (laughs). I never really watch TV because I am always doing so many things all day and preparing content for my new site.

LBI: Do you have any favorite movies?
Lupe Fuentes: Rocky, Martyrs (French movie)
